mahattvam of vIrabhadrar’s mantra-tantra vidyA:
vidyAs follow births after births and that is why Guru sambandham is seen higher than the relationship one has with his mother & father too.. My maharAj protected me like how the potter takes care of wet pots. Not only from these things or persons, but also from the bad habits one may get out of worldly influences.
“To know vIrabhadrar’s Avirbhavam, one may refer to the internet and that will give multiple versions of stories.. I will here let you know the glimpse about his vidyA which you cannot find elsewhere in the digital world..”
While I was initiated with the vIrabhadrar’s mantram, my maharAj told me this exact verse “Do this japA more; you will not get affected by any bad people or bad spirits! Also, this swAmy will keep his feet on mAyA and save you!”.. This is the only description I have received from my maharAj and rest all his vidyAs..
Though vIrabhadrar is seen as a shiva avatAr, he is known as the son of shivA. Being he is born out of the mouth of shivA like a kAlAgni when he is enraged with kOpa and duHkha; he is a born atikrUra mUrti.. He always remains angered and his hands remain ever ready to save his bhakta “even” from the kali purusha..
May be from the day when he beheaded dakshan, his worship would have begun..
Wherever this swAmy is worshipped; even kali purushan stays distant.
Only when the kali purushan stays distant; one gets the vairAghyam towards divinity. And, this vairAghyam is the jIva of shaiva. Shaiva’s very essence is this tIvra vairAghyam to attain the feet of swAmy from coming out of the vicious circle of birth & death. Thus, he has a special place in shaivam.
Out of all his vidyAs, his 33 lettered mantrA stands like a crown-jewel in his worship. This mantrA has the procedures of tarpaNam as well.. Such is the importance this mantram carries in worshipping him.
His tantrOpAsanA starts from the normal vIrabhadrar and takes one to jaya vIrabhadrar, kaNkAla vIrabhadrar, vairinAsha vIrabhadrar, dhUmra vIrabhadrar, aghOra vIrabhadrar and pralayakAla hUmkAra vIrabhadrar..
His rahasya nAmAvali carries the nAmA ‘nrusimha samhArinE’ directly tells us he is no different from the mighty sharabhEshwarar.
In tIvra kramam, any of the above mentioned forms of vIrabhadrar has to be worshipped along with his another 8 forms and they are: krUra vIrabhadrar, atikrUra vIrabhadrar, pAtAla vIrabhadrar, unmatta vIrabhadrar, trishira vIrabhadrar, hAnkAra vIrabhadrar, simha vIrabhadrar & rAkshasa vIrabhadrar..
All these 8 forms have a separate japa vidhAnam..
Though he is to be known as the protector of one from the mAyA; still he has a separate shatkarma prayOgAs apart from the ones from his vidyAs.
He has his simhAsanam in the malavAra mAntrIkam as well where he will be worshipped to brutally kill the enemy in a way similar to how nrusimhar killed hiranyakashipu.
His grace earned out of proper worship will even pacify the nAga dOsha as the ashta nAgAs are his bhUshaNas..
anantan and vAsuki nAgam are his karNa kuNDalam..
takshaka nAgam is his hAram..
karkOtaka nAgam is his yagnyOpavItam..
shankhapAla nAgam is his ghatikasUtram..
padma & gulika nAgam are his shrIpAdakatakam..
And, mahApadma nAgam will remain at his feet..
In his krama also, the ritual sarpa bali shall be performed to earn the grace of nAga dEvatAs to pacify the nAga dOsham.
Two of his nAmAs “AchAra-ppratipAlanAya and anAchAra samhAraNAya” clearly says his avatAra tattvam..
Such is the mahattvam of this swAmy who makes one highly disciplined..
The upAsakan of vIrabhadrar when attains his grace “carries” –
atikrUra vIrabhadrar in his heart, krUra vIrabhadrar on his head, rudran on his shikhA, rudra putran as his armour, sakala-dushta-dahanan on his eyes and aghOra_vIrabhadrar all around him..
Thus this swAmy ensures no evil thoughts occupy one’s heart, no bad thoughts originate in one’s mind.. And, ensures no associations with the wrong people..
My maharAj used to put so many speed breakers in my path to ensure I do not fall into the trap of vidyA mAyA..
There are some handful of divine forms who don’t put us into vidyA mAyA when engaging ourselves with “tIvra upAsanA”..
One such is vIrabhadra swAmy who comes in top list..
This picture in itself is verily evident.. It symbolises his sat-prabhAvam; “daksha prajApati with goad head” is put beside him for us to ensure no madness he will bear..
Also, he ensures none shall harm him ever! If anyone wishes to buy his hand-crafted & consecrated yantra of bhagavAn vIrabhadrar, you shall click on the below button.
