Chandi is also called as Chandika Parameshwari; because she is the supreme most form of mUla prakrti like that of Durga.. That is why, Durga is also called as Durga Parameshwari. Whoever has got the title Parameshwari are nothing but the supreme embodiment of the supreme divine.
Chandi as the name says, she is uncontrollable which means we must not interpret with the modern women who claims all their improper behavior is that of Chandi’s.. That’s pApa.. Using smrtis to justify their improper behavior says they are far away from the contents of smrtis.
Chandi who is called as uncontrollable because, normally a woman needs a man to engage in creation.. Here Chandika shall do on her own without any man. So, none of her actions depend on anyone, rather all of our actions depend on her.
Chandi is called as tri-shakti swarupa which means she is Eka (one) swarupa of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati. Here, Mahakali symbolises creation.. Mahalakshmi symbolises preservation and Mahasaraswati symbolises destruction.
How is that Mahakali is symbolising creation and Mahasaraswati is symbolizing the destruction?
That is the beauty of Chandi or Atmika altogether. It always comes with the package of surprises which is why one must learn from the learnt rather than ending up with own conclusions.
Here, Mahakali symbolizes the chit-shakti and so, from the chit – the creation happens..
Mahalakshmi symbolizes the sat-shakti and so, from this sat- the creation sustains.
Mahasaraswati symbolizes the Ananda shakti and so, the ignorance gets dissolved with the right set of knowledge i.e., gnAna. That is why every other form of Swamy or Amba is satchidananda swarupa and Chandi is chitsadananda swarupa.
She is ever happy in what she does. There is no doors for sorrow here. That is why, the elders will prefer Durga worship for people who are in great distress out of poverty or disease or anything..
And, apart from this trishakti swarupa, Chandi also has another tri-shakti swarupa which is Chandi-Mundi-Prachandi. Here, the vidyA is purely offensive and it carries the samhara amsa with it to destroy the outer enemies. Whereas the trishakti swarupa of Mahakali-Mahalakshmi-Mahasaraswati also carries the samhara tattvam with it, but it destroys both the internal & external enemies; which is why this form of trishakti is more prevalent in the society than the other form of trishakti.
Is Chandi, a Durga or Kali?
Chandi is no separate from them both.. If you see her as Durga, she becomes Durga and if you see her as Kalika, she becomes Kalika..
As, she falls entirely under Shakta krama, she will be ever ready to bless her devotees as quickly as possible. Because, it is Shakti that is ever pervaded in the form of consciousness called Vishnu and it is Vishnu who is ever pervaded and doing his actions via this Shakti.
So, Chandi & Mahavishnu are no separate. They are like the body & the energy. That is why the Elders say – one must not engage in arguments who is superior or who is inferior as they all work together for us.
It is said, Chandi will pacify Rahu Dosha? Is that true??

And, moreover Navagrahas are the panel of judges who are appointed to give us penalties for all the bad we do and rewards for all the good we do.
