A Sacred Initiative for Devotees and Seekers
We are building a dedicated Pitham for Devi Kalikamba in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, a center of devotion, spiritual practice, and divine grace. This initiative aims to create a sacred space where devotees can connect with the powerful energy of Kalikamba, participate in rituals, and receive Her blessings.
This is the plan of our kAnchana pITham. Now, the size of our pITham is 550 sq.ft including the outer space where we fit in the metal grills. And, the pITham is now remaining under the Tin sheet right on the first floor of our home. From this, it is getting expanded to 1000 sq.ft with the roof on top.
We actually bought a two plots next to each other to relocate our home as well; to take care of the pITham as we are the only manpower. But then, considering the expenses involved – the amount of work involved – talks involved – soothe sayings involved; I have decided to keep this space as sacred as now on our first floor itself – continuing to keep it selectively private.
While constructing the pITham, “we are also making a small provision” around the inner walls to bring the 78 + 3 nAga kula dEvatAs of each 1ft height in the future. This is the overall picture of kAnchana pITham getting moved from Trichy to Tanjavur.
As we had made the saNkalpam in such a way chAthAn swAmy gets a separate space along with his 18 kuttichAthan mUrties, he has made himself the way for it when we worried about the saNkalpam.
Though the physical space is little, yet it will remain large with her sAnnidhya with the hearts of submission.
No swAmy or ambA looks for the greater / richer spaces. What they will see from us is – how much we shall submit ourself with all that we have!! And, her karuNA has taken everything from us for now and this karuNA will get back with aishwarya that remains with us eternally. As we don’t have any greater plans with this establishment, we haven’t made a trust as of now. Since we are teaching vidyAs to the deserving people, they have volunteered to open up an Educational Trust and we are working on that.
No swAmy or ambA will come & sit for the prANapraThishtAdi mantrAs we utter with materialistic heart and rotten tongue. They will check – for me to come & sit there – what will you do? Tests will happen. Only if we are ready to give all that we have not by lip level, but by actions – even before the construction of that temple or pITham begins, swAmy or ambA will move to that place and takes care of construction, funds & all that is necessary.
Though we do not have financial backgrounds, I AM SURE, THIS WORK WILL PROGRESS SMOOTHLY..
As usual, we do not ping anyone personally – whomever she is selecting, they will join their hands to that extent.
And, as scheduled – bhUmi pUjA is happening on 6th of this month between 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
Through this Pitham, we will preserve and continue the age-old traditions of Tantrik worship, homas, and deep spiritual teachings, making it a beacon of divine protection and transformation.
Current Fundraising Progress
To bring this vision to life, we require ₹30 lakhs, out of which ₹8 lakhs has already been raised through the generous contributions of devotees. We still need ₹22 lakhs to complete the construction and consecration of the Pitham.
