The mahimA of krishNa paramAtmA can’t be contained with words as he is beyond one’s mind. None shall comprehend him as he is the pUraNa brahma swarUpa irrespective of him taking a form and lived as a human among us.
We live in a world where people claim their God or Goddess to be superior-one among the other though they flaunt their tongue in advaita philosophy.. In one of his dhyAna shlOka, krishNa paramAtma is referred as shiva-sakha, a friend of shiva. So, the human minds must understand that shiva will be the closest friend to krishNa here by knowing our devotional drama watching movies or reading books or listening to the modern gurujis.
BhagavAn krishNa carried 6 angAs with him and they are
- acala – The one who is always steady.. So, this acala krishNa must be meditated in our heart to ensure, bhagavAn krishNa remains steady in our heart and like the swAmy in his garbha-grha.
- adbhuta – The one who is extraordinary or supernatural.. This form of adbhuta krishNa must be meditated on our head and the constant meditation of him on our head would help one come across the fear / confusions and gives him the confident that krishNar has his own ways to sort things out. This fuels the faith on swAmy.
- ajanma – The one who is not subjected to birth / death cycle. Meditating this form of paramAtma swarUpa on our tuft protects him from the invisible enemies.
- ananta – This ananta krishNa who is endless must be meditated as our armor. This form of ananta krishNar will protect him from all sorts of dangers. Thus, he is no different from ApaduddhAranar, the nAmA specific to bhairavar. So, nowhere bhairavar or krishNar is superior to each other like how the modern cults of these both paramAtma swarUpAs are getting themselves engaged with..
- aparAjita – This form of aparAjita krishNar who is undefeated must be meditated on our eyes. This would help him remain undefeated from the mAyA vinOda that his eyes perceive. So, none shall deceive him.
- avyakta – This form of avyakta krishNar has to be meditated on all our sides, animate / inanimate objects, mitra/shatru, mAtA/pitA and he must be meditated on all things, creatures & people around us with no difference as he is indistinctive in nature here and this shall also be perceived as he is the primal gem of the nature. This clearly tells the humans that, however one may remain razor sharp with intelligence and however one may carry the wisdom as like the heavy flow of ganges, still he cannot be understood..
The efforts man takes to understand swAmy is absolutely futile.. He couldn’t.. Can he understand the nature? He can study a bit about it and still it remains far beyond the human minds.
Apart from these 6 limbs, bhagavAn krishNar carries 16 traits with him for the man to understand he is no ordinary human and those traits are
- dayA – Kindness
- dhairya – Bravery with sharp intelligence
- kshama – forgiveness
- nyAya – justice
- nirapEksha – absolute brahman
- kaivalya – identification with the supreme divine
- tapasya – devout austerity
- aparacitta – not known to one’s mind
- danashIla – ever prosperous
- saundarya mAyA – encharming beauty
- nrtyaGnya – expertise in dance
- sangItaGnya – expertise in music
- nItivaDi – embodiment of justice
- satyavaDi – embodiment of truth
- sarvaGnyata – the one who directs / controls everything
- sarvAniyanta – the one who influence over all things & acts through all things
These 16 traits remains COMPLETE within bhagavAn krishNar and which is why he is referred as pUraNa brahman..
A beautiful dhyAna shlOka is translated for our simple minds to know him as a simple God –
“O Lord Krishna, you are the embodiment of desire for the Gopis, the form of the wish-fulfilling cow for them. You are the friend of the cowherds, revered by numerous kings. You are the giver of joy to Nanda, the boon-giver to your companions, and the thief of Radha’s heart. You are the jewel among the Yadavas, the friend of Shiva. Please protect me, a helpless one, with your compassion.”
And, another uniqueness krishNa carries in his pUjA.. Unlike indra who carries vajra with him while serving any ambA or swAmy, agni who carries shakti with him while serving ambA or swAmy or any ashta digpAlakAs who serve ambA or swAmy carries their Ayudha with them to ensure they protect their directions. But, here, they don’t carry their weapons with them while serving bhagavAn krishNar; rather than this, each one will carry catra, cAmara, darpaNa, dhvaja around him to serve him..
Why so?
Because through this pUjA, bhagavAn krishNar is letting our limited minds to understand, it is he who is protecting even the dikpAlakAs and so, they don’t need their weapons when bhagavAn krishNar is with them..
jaya jaya shrI krishNa!!
