Kanchana Pitham

Mahavarahi Devi – Supreme Shakti of Tantra, destroyer of ego, and the silent source behind Sri Chakra’s creation cycle.

Who is mahAvArAhi?

She is Adi-shakti.. She is pradAna shakti. It is from her – purusha-prakrti emerges out for the creation.

The beauty here is She is pradAna when she remains as a shAkta nAyaki & sits on the prEta of sadAshiva.. She is purusha in shrI chakra who plays with the prakrti kurukulla & gives us lalitA. And, as other forms of vArAhi, she becomes the prakrti.

She is the door for both shrI kula & kAli kula upAsana.

The number for mahAvArAhi is 6.

Thus, mahAvArAhi represents the complete vision of Truth through shad-chakrAs – From mUlAdhAra to Agnya.. What about sahasrAra? I leave this context to learn properly from the Guru after getting duly initiated by all proper ways & means. Yes, she is there in sahasrAra as well. But, not as vArAhi.

Thus, mahAvArAhi subdues shad-ripus within the sAdhaka – kAma, krOdha, lObha, mOha, mada, mAtsarya.

Thus, MahAvArAhi MUST get worshipped with the Sixfold tAntrIka upAsana path in mantra tantra-vidya i.e., nyAsa, mudrA, japa, hOma, abhishEka, tarpaNa.

Thus, mahAvArAhi makes one the symbol of divine completeness by blessing him with gnAna, bala, aishwarya, vIrya, shakti, tEjas.

Thus, mahAvArAhi is the commander of all shad-shaktis who governs our body and those shaktis are DAkini, rAkini, lAkini, kAkini, sAkini, hAkini. She becomes tattva-adhishThAtri who can command or dissolve these shaktis of our body. It is through these shaktis, our external enemies are harmed when prayOga is done on them.

6 – It marks the threshold of siddhi, where lower tendencies are conquered and higher tattvas begin to manifest.

6 as the expansive aspect of mahAvArAhi who governs evolution (pravṛtti) and involution (nivṛtti) — especially relevant for mahAvArAhi and also, it represents – the union of jIvAtma & paramAtma.

mahAvArAHyambA resides in the ocean of madhu and it doesn’t mean the practitioners are supposed to live the life of an alcoholic or drinking alcohol out of carnal desires under the quilt of spirituality.

In kshUdra vidyA, this ambA gets into one body through 9 holes and either helps him get rid of negative influences or will catch him as the highest of all negativities based on the prayOgicAs prayOga.

She is also called as rAtri dEvatA & bali dEvatA. Her worship includes things that are not meant for the ordinary people and so, she is supposed to worship only at night and that by those who are initiated traditionally. She carries shukra tattva with her. If a man worships her following all the traditional guidelines after getting initiated properly, even if he is senile, she will bless him with the manly power. But, if a man worships her without getting initiated in his own self-generated ways, he will turn sterile.

If you staunchly believe mantra-tantra has effects, then you should remember, it will come with affects as well as effects & affects are two sides of the same coin.

And, the upAsaka of vArAHyambA will have an insight on future. She will bless him to see the future & make his path accordingly. Thus, she shows him the future and help him mend the present for better future. Always what we sow today that we reap tomorrow. Even vArAHyambA won’t help one reap sweet fruits from the bitter seeds. Thus, changing the fate is all dramatic talks which won’t work in reality.

vArAhi is ahamkAra swarUpa and so, she represents the sUrya nADi in our sharIra. Thus, worship of this ambA brings clarity for the material & spiritual progress, finally she helps him get the svAtma darshana with the grace of Guru. tEjas is the tattva of ahamkAra and thus, in whose heart she lives, his face will carry the braHma tEjas.

In addition to this – when it comes to shrI chakra – there will be 4 upward triangles & 5 downward triangles. 4 upward triangles are vArAhi and the 5 downward triangles are kurukulla.

If vArAhi represents here as sUrya nADi, then, kurukullA represents chandra nADi. What creation is there without the Sun & the Moon?

If sUrya nADi is ahamkAra swarUpa, chandra nADi is manas swarUpa. If sUrya nADi is carrying the tEjas tattva, then chandra nADi carries Apa tattva. vArAhi is fire & kurukullA is water here.

So, this purusha tattva vArAhi and sthrI tattva kurukullA begets lalitA..

What if 4 upward & 4 downward triangles are there equally in shrI chakra?

Won’t all Apa tattva gets evaporated with the fire? And, the fire also gets put off when all the water gets evaporated.. Isn’t it?

That’s why here – ambA with benevolence made 4 upward triangles & 5 downward triangle by adding a little extra of Apa tattva..

This is the reason, vArAHyambA’s fiery shakti remains dormant in shrI chakra & so, lalitA carries more of Apa tattva. This is the reason, she is seen as a sAttvIka swarUpa and shrI chakra is verily suitable for the householders to worship.

And, here – one mustn’t forget the strength of the water!! That is lalitA! Water gives life & takes life. This is why the rituals start with water & end with water.

So, as the tattva of Apa is more here, obviously the lesser tattva of vArAHyambA makes her the attendant kind of for her own daughter.

But, one should remind in his or her mind, never tell vArAHyambA is the attendant of lalitA. She is the father of lalitA. Will a father carry his ferocious nature towards his daughter & so, vArAHyambA towards lalitAmbA!!

You may ask – then how come it is also said like – vArAHyambA has emerged out of the pushpabANAs of lalitA?

Learn vidyAs properly rather than looking for information alone. You will get to know completely only if you put yourself into learning & practicing under the shade of maharAj.

“When the roots of a nation drink from distorted spirituality, the fruit it bears will be delusion, discontent, and decline.
To protect dharma is not to protect religion — it is to protect the clarity of the people.
And true Vidya, passed from Guru to shishya, lights this clarity from within.
This is the fire we tend at Kanchana Pitham — not for fame, but for the future.”
