Chathan Seva

Chathan or Kuttichathan, a divine manifestation of Shivaputra, holds a revered position akin to Lord Shasta. He is not just a protector but also a Dharma Paripalaka, ensuring righteousness prevails over adharma. Mounted on his majestic buffalo, he tirelessly intervenes to safeguard his devotees and uphold justice, making sure no sincere seeker is left helpless.

Much like Shasta and Ganapathy, who command vast legions of Bhutaganas, Chathan Swamy is accompanied by his own Chathan Murtis, powerful celestial beings who enforce divine justice. While he is immensely benevolent, blessing devotees with everything they seek, he does not tolerate deceit or betrayal. Those who fail to keep their promises to him or act with dishonesty find themselves at the mercy of the Chathan Murtis, who drag the ingenuine down into the depths of suffering.

Chathan is often revered as a Karpaka Vriksham—a wish-fulfilling tree—bestowing devotees with their heartfelt desires. Whether it is wealth, protection, or spiritual upliftment, he grants them all, provided one approaches him with sincerity and devotion.

Every night, sacred Chathan Puja is conducted here, invoking his presence and blessings, ensuring the devotees remain under his divine protection and guidance.
