The worship of Subrahmanyar has flourished across Bharata for countless generations through temples, scriptures, Guru-paramparas, saints, siddhas, and devoted practitioners. Yet, as traditional lineages decline and authentic teachings become increasingly difficult to access, much of the sacred / authentic Samskrta Kaumara Vidya is gradually disappearing from the modern world.
Shanmukha Kadambam is a humble effort to preserve, protect, and propagate the traditional spiritual heritage of Kaumaropasana for sincere seekers and devotees.
This work was not created merely as another devotional publication. It was compiled with the conviction that authentic spiritual knowledge should not be lost amidst the growing confusion created by self-proclaimed gurus, self-invented traditions, and modern interpretations that often bear little resemblance to the original teachings handed down through Guru-parampara.
The purpose of this book is simple:
To preserve traditional Kaumara Vidya and provide a reliable spiritual companion for those who sincerely seek the grace of Lord Shanmukha.
Shanmukha Kadambam serves both as a devotional treasury and as a practical guide for those who wish to establish a deeper relationship with Kartikeya through sincere worship and spiritual practice.
In an age where authentic teachings are becoming increasingly rare, preserving traditional wisdom becomes a sacred responsibility.
May this work contribute, in however small a way, towards keeping the flame of Kaumara Vidya alive.

This digital edition has intentionally been made non-downloadable and non-printable.
The decision was not made to inconvenience sincere seekers, but to protect the Vidya from the unfortunate realities of the present age. Over the years, we have witnessed self-proclaimed digital gurujis acquiring traditional teachings from institutions and practitioners like us—often through their students, followers, or supporters—only to repackage, rebrand, and present them as their own.
We have also seen individuals who survive in the spiritual world merely through the accumulation of superficial texts, adorned with royal robes and titles, without genuine practice or realization. Equally unfortunate is the growing trend of people placing their own watermarks and claims of ownership on works that were created, preserved, and transmitted by others.
Considering these realities, we have chosen to make this work available only for study through your computer, tablet, or mobile device. We encourage sincere seekers to read carefully, take personal notes, contemplate the teachings, and put them into practice.
A genuine seeker comes for the Vidya, not for possession of the document. Such seekers will understand the necessity of these safeguards and will not be offended by them.
Our responsibility is to protect the Vidya and make it available to sincere aspirants. Those who seek only content, recognition, or material to appropriate for their own purposes are not our concern.

இந்நூல் வெறுமனே மற்றொரு பக்தி நூலாக உருவாக்கப்படவில்லை. தங்களைத் தாங்களே குருக்களாக அறிவித்துக்கொள்வோர், சுயமாக உருவாக்கப்பட்ட மரபுகள், மற்றும் குரு பரம்பரையாக வந்த ஆதாரபூர்வமான உபதேசங்களுடன் தொடர்பில்லாத நவீன விளக்கங்கள் ஆகியவற்றால் உருவாகியுள்ள குழப்பங்களுக்கு மத்தியில், உண்மையான ஆன்மிக ஞானம் மறைந்து போகக் கூடாது என்ற உறுதியோடு இந்நூல் தொகுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
