Ashadha Navaratri, also known as Gupta Navaratri, is one of the most sacred periods dedicated to the worship of the Shakti by the Upasakas. Among the Mahavidyas and other Shakti’s worshipped during this Navaratri, Sri Maha Varahi Devi occupies a unique place as the fierceful protector of devotees and the powerful commander of the Lalita Maha Tripurasundari.

In Kali Vidya – she is considered no different from Kalika.

Varahi has her unique place in both Shrikula & Kalikula vidyas.
